I just finished a cool new textured piece a few days ago. It's up on my gallery page now. It has inspired me to finally get off my butt and finished all the textured canvases I have kicking around the studio. So keep an eye out for some cool new stuff coming down the line.
People keep asking my how I get the cool textures on the canvas? what product do I use? Is it hard? Is it expensive?...in answer to those questions, I just use all my leftover paint while I am working on other pieces and smear the half dried chunky stuff on a spare canvas I have kicking around. It's cheap...actually better than cheap because I dont waste any paint, don't have to buy fancy products to do the same thing and it's better on the environment by recyling! That's my useful tip of the day for all you painters out there!
