The name "full Irish" comes from the massive heart stopping "Full Irish" breakfast I would eat before going wave chasing.

I painted this wave on my trip to Ireland in January 2015. The waves were huge and so was my inspiration. I tried to capture the sheer volume and power of the waves that I spent a lot of time watching.
